Wretched Road Trip to University of Georgia

Segment 1 (0:00) – Wretched Road Trip takes Todd to the University of Georgia Athens (UGA).  Who gets to decide if what man writes is right?  by what authority?  Without an objective authority, you can’t know who is right or who is wrong.  Meet Reece, the likeable atheist, who is studying world religions for an exam.

Segment 2 (8:53) – Reece doesn’t believe in God although coming from a Catholic background.  Todd explains how one can know there is a God, moving to the 10 commandments, God as the righteous judge, and finally the Gospel.  Reece is stuck for a reason to reject such a gracious offer.  Todd gives him time to think it over.

Segment 3 (15:51) – Todd notes that Reece does not run away, doesn’t mock, and is willing to listen.  Most college kids are.  Reece politely rejects the Gospel invitation as he views it as just following a set of joyless rules.  He wants to be the God of his own life and live for his personal happiness (he enjoys his sin and doesn’t want to stop).  Todd acknowledges Reece as the most honest witness encounter he has ever had.  Pray for Reece.
