How to Handle the Gray Areas of Life with Biblical discernment
Segment 1 (0:00) – Christian couple who runs hotel out of their home forced to pay a fine because two gay men sued them by not letting them share a bed. It had nothing to do with them being gay. They do not allow unmarried people to share a room. They defend their position on British TV show. God is long-suffering but he brings judgment when the time if fulfilled. God is immutable. He doesn’t change His laws because we change.
Segment 2 (10:15) – Discussion on adiaphora (gray areas where there isn’t explicit instruction in Scripture). Proximity (how close are you to being in the event/sin). How much you are participating, sanctioning the event depends on your proximity to the event.
Segment 3 (17:51) – We need to lose our presuppositions and base our stances on what the Bible teaches. Bible verses that inform and then we come up with our decisions.
