Depending on God and His Word and Not on Other Things in Our Lives

Segment 1 (1:30) – Mr. Dawson is insistent on getting his point across about evolution, and Miss Wright was extremely polite in getting her point across as well. Mr. Dawson insisted that we are from monkeys, etc., and Miss Wright explained, again very politely, that there is no proof of that whatsoever, and told him he was closed-minded, which she was definitely right about.

Segment 2 (10:14) – He now is questioning Miss Wright as to whether she is hostile with this subject of evolution, and she just laughed.  Overall, Mr. Dawson is double talking in an extreme effort to get his point across, as well as trying to convince Miss Wright that he’s absolutely right.

Segment 3 (17:27) – It’s perfectly all right to have and do “things”, but we should do those in moderation and not to the extreme, because when we do, it takes away from our time to pray, worship, etc. We need to remember what’s important. We need to concentrate on the Gospel more and let some other things just rest and not take over all of our time.
