Pastors who “fish” for men’s applause; Admonition to preach the Word. Study & prepare. Let the Word preach without gimmick. Stay Faithful.
Segment 1 (0:00) – Pastoral Shenanigans: Pastors should be rightly dividing the Word of Truth. Study ecclesiology. Trying to be “cool” ends up not being creative but rather all the same entertainment.
Segment 2 (11:45) – Pastors should not make themselves the center of the message – pride, self exaltation; Christ is the center, the focus. “Entertainment doesn’t remedy spiritual blindness”. Jeremiah 23:28-32 Preach with clarity & conviction. God will bless.
Segment 3 (20:06) – Shame on pastors who bore, making the Word tedious & tasteless. Improve study pace or delivery. If you are not gifted to preach the Word then get out of the ministry – you are not called to it. The Word convicts & converts.
