– Episode 885 –
How Do We Rightly Judge Others?
Segment 1 (0:00) – An open air preacher insults Rosie O’Donnell that posted on Wretched.tv gets a reaction from the preacher to Todd’s embarrassment. Another video the preacher insults a woman passerby. He gets a rebuke on how to open air preach the right way, (Gal. 6:1) by lovingly and kindly doing it, and only to the saved. Christians don’t rebuke an unsaved person, we preach the Gospel to them. Bringing forth the Gospel to sinners by being nasty and mean is sinning. There is strong language in the Bible but it’s used toward teachers and preachers who are perverting the message of God.
Segment 2 (9:05) – Everyone can be a critic on social media. Jesus tells us how to judge with a righteous judgement. We judge a brother in Christ differently then an unsaved person. Christians shouldn’t judge the heathens for acting like heathens. A video of Kirk Cameron answering a question on gay marriage and homosexuality gets judged by other Christians for not giving an aggressive enough answer. Christians are always making judgement inside the Church. What is the right response; is there a range in which a judgement can be made?
Segment 3 (17:35) – Kirk Cameron asked about abortion, being for or against it. Christians need to judge rightly those inside the Body of Christ, when to and how to and over what issues. Was he aberrant from scripture? Did he just not answer these questions very well? But we also need to take into consideration his accomplishments as to what he has done for the Lord.
